This RV Park is excellent for a big rig stop over or monthly stay if in the Jacksonville area. Our site was a long, level pull-through with nice space between the next site. Easy access. Weather was cool so we did not use the pool. We would definitely stay here again.
Most sites are very close together, interior roads are narrow. Rather difficult for large rigs. Site is gravel with a wooden deck with patio table - some decks broken due to being run over by RVs. Sites are fairly level. When it rains, sites are a muddy mess. Park does have a nice dog run area, although it is muddy when it rains. Tour buses provide pick up at park. Too expensive for the area. Our rate of $36 included discounts for weekly rate and Passport America.
This was our first Passport America park. Very nice park, friendly staff, clean, well-kept. Nice layout. Parked our 40' motorhome in the back section for good satellite reception. Good wi-fi also. Quiet and peaceful during the week. Highly recommend this park.
We stopped here without a reservation for one night. The friendly staff had an overflow spot with electric & water until a site became open. We stayed in site #33 with a 40' 4-slide motor home that was level with shade. We didn't have a sewer hook-up and had to use the dump station. They will pump out holding tanks at no charge if you stay longer than overnight. Wi-fi wasn't available at our site. We could not get satellite due to trees. The pool looked nice. A laundry room was available but the camp store was very, very small.
A nice, small, quiet and peaceful KOA. Our site was a pull-through, level, with not much width whens slides are open. We were unable to use satellite due to trees. The kids seemed to be enjoying the pool and the pond. There is friendly staff.
First 48 hours of camping is FREE. Each additional night is $5. Some sites have electric, some have sewer, some water available. Pretty fairgrounds. Arrived during the Jolly Green Giant Festival. Stayed 3 nights/4 days. Extremely friendly town.
Campground has new owners, formerly was called Roam & Roost. New owners have prior campground experience and are making enhancements and additional sites. Exceptionally clean, friendly management & staff. Fishing available. Paddle boats available. Quiet and laid back atmosphere. Not geared toward children - no pool, no playground. Campfires permitted. Nice landscaping and many bird feeders throughout the campground. Had excellent Wi-Fi access. Wi-Fi & cable are free. Hope to return there again.
Loved this place! Located on the bay, across from the ocean. Extremely pet-friendly. Management was great. No pool. Happy Hour, atmosphere, and location is what stands out. Sites are small, park is small - but plans are to improve the sites.
This park located next to the visitor center for Canyon de Chelly is free. Yes, free. There are no hook-ups, but a dump station and water for fill-up are available. The location is excellent for visiting Canyon de Chelly and taking side trips such as Monument Valley. It has beautiful cottonwood trees for shade. We stayed 5 nights. Rangers speak frequently at the campground re: Navajo culture, pottery, and the geology of the canyon. The hosts were terrific.
This is a nice, clean park located in Williams, AZ. Williams is a nice little town located on Route 66. It is conveniently located for a trip via rail or car to the Grand Canyon. A day trip to Sedona is also possible. The nightly rate includes full hook-ups including cable and free wi-fi. The lots are gravel, no patio. We stayed 4 nights. Management was very friendly, offering sightseeing advice and discount restaurant coupons.
Stayed for 6 nights. Nice clean park. Has shade and some grass. Small patios with picnic tables. Nice pool with an indoor hot tub. Asphalt streets. Some sites have gravel; some have concrete for parking RV. Free continental breakfast daily! Wi-fi with Linkspot fees and some limited free access at office. Friendly, helpful management. No cable but local Albuquerque channels are available.
Good hook-ups including cable. This park is good for an overnight stop. It is convenient to I-40. The park is actually the parking lot of an old Route 66 motel. Nothing fancy, but good hook-ups at a reasonable price.
